PORTABLE MARQEE SIGNS

Portable marquee signs are the signs of the past.  Nothing looks older then an changeable letter signs against the new era of portable outdoor signs that are both digitally printed and light-up.  The last 10 years have seen a letter sign become a beautiful and highly effective form of advertising. Combined with limitless design possibilities that allow for high quality graphics and consistency across all advertising mediums.

 

An outdoor marquee sign has been the standard of the portable sign industry for the last 25 years.  They use outdated materials and technology which are limited in quality, size and dependability.  Most marquee signs are no bigger then 4ft x 8ft and that is due tot he price of Plexiglas as this material becomes very expensive when you go bigger then 4ft x 8ft.  Most of these signs look poorly build and are not an appealing design which leads to them not wanted to be seen in many jurisdictions, as many municipalities try to circumvent the Charter and our right to corporate free speech by passing bylaws that try to restrict or prohibit this type of signage outright.  I believe that this is due in part to how these signs have looked in the past, UGLY!  If a sign is attractive and well maintained the idiot city administrators that oppose these types of signs will have one less leg to stand on when you see a sign from Illuminated Signs.
